Meet Devin Langer

Growing up with an appreciation for art, Devin was always trying to create something. It wasn’t till he joined the Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist (MC) in 2015 when he discovered his love of photography and graphic design.

As an MC, he was responsible for documenting what Sailors do through photography, videography, journalism and graphic design. He completed his initial MC training in 2016 and reported to his first ship, USS Makin Island (LHD 8). After just a few days on the ship, he was handed a camera and he hasn’t put it down since.

With seven years of Navy photojournalism experience and nearly three years of professional freelance experience, Devin is more than prepared to take on any project that comes his way.

He is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona.
